The Group has expanded Virgin's operations throughout France, and has already opened more than thirty multimedia culture stores that receive more than 11 million visitors a year.

The full range of products are on display and accessible for customers to try out: earphones to listen to any record in the racks, previews of films, video game demonstrations, as well as broadcasts of programmes on the in-house Virgin TV Channel throughout the day.

          Travel and culture: a successful partnership
Mindful of the needs of the travel sector clientele it knows so well, Lagardère Services Group is now combining the commercial know-how it has gained with Virgin to create new medium-size (100 to 300 m2) concepts in a large number of airports and stations around the world, catering to passengers in a hurry who know what they want.

Thanks to the innovative new concept developed with Lagardère Services, each store now holds a leading position in its area. The accent is on looks and functionality, with comfortable seating and desks for easy consultation, helpful well-informed staff, and a selection of between 35,000 and 130,000 books - everything that readers need.
